It gives us great pleasure to announce Sheik Abdur Rashid Kader as the Managing Director of Minopex South Africa, a DRA Global company.

Rashid has 20 years service with the Group and this experience will be invaluable in his strategic leadership of the South African Operations. Rashid will continue to hold his position as the President of DRA Saudi Arabia, responsible for the Middle East and North Africa regions. He is familiar within the Minopex Group and in the Metallurgical industry, having spent the last 23 years in the Research, Operations and Management disciplines.

Some of the roles held in his career ranged from Shift Superintendent, Plant Metallurgist and Process Superintendent in the former years of his career to management roles such as Plant Manager, Regional Manager, General Manager and Operations Director more recently.

Rashid’s sound technical, contract management and business skills combined with his people engagement skills has brought great success to his business units due to his implementation of a “one team success” culture.
