Patrick has held several Senior Management positions in the Construction and Mining Industries, including an HR Executive at Murray & Roberts and Senior Employee Relations Manager at Anglo Platinum.

He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa, as well as a Board member of the Constructional Engineering Association of Southern Africa.

Patrick holds a Postgraduate degree in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg, a National Diploma in Legal Assistance from the Tshwane University of Technology and an MDP from Wits University. Patrick is also studying towards completion of a Degree in Law from the University of South Africa.
