K1 MineSafe Industry Awards Recognition

We are delighted to share that Minopex Kroondal 1 has been recognized as the runner-up for Best Improved PGM Processing Plant in Safety Performance at MineSafe 2024! This achievement comes as we mark a major milestone of reaching three years of Lost Time Injury (LTI)-free days at our operation.

This honor is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to fostering a safe and secure work environment. It reflects our collective dedication to prioritizing safety in all aspects of our operations. By consistently applying the principles of Sections 22, 23, and 83 of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), we uphold our core values, ensuring the well-being of everyone through teamwork, vigilance, and continuous improvement.

The Minopex Sibanye Stillwater Kroondal 1 plant holds a special place in our history, as it represents our longest-standing contract since 1999. With 25 years of successful plant operations and maintenance services, this achievement underscores our team’s sustained excellence while maintaining the highest safety standards.
