Minopex was proud to support a Childhood Cancer Awareness Campaign hosted at Kroondal Primary School in partnership with CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa and Sibanye-Stillwater Platinum Mine.
Held on 20 March 2026, the initiative focused on raising awareness and empowering the community with knowledge that can help save lives.
Under the theme:
“Early Detection Saves Lives – Learn the Early Warning Signs of Childhood Cancer,” the campaign highlighted the importance of recognising early symptoms, including the Siluan Early Warning Signs, to improve outcomes for children affected by cancer.
The programme included:
- Educational presentations on early warning signs
- Inspiring survivor stories
- Information on available support services for children and families
The engagement brought together educators, parents, caregivers, and community members, reinforcing the importance of awareness, education, and collective support.
