In November 2023, Minopex’s West Coast Plant Operations (WCPO) team was nominated for a Best Practice Award 2023 by the Mining Qualifications Authority.

The WCPO plant, which is situated in the West Coast of South Africa, Cape Town, has been under Minopex's management since 2017.
