YAHNIQUE PETERSEN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Yahnique Petersen, a Metallurgist at Minopex – Gamsberg Mine, participated in a career exhibition at Pofadder High School. A number of schools from the Khai-Ma district in the Northern Cape attended the exhibition.
Yahnique encouraged students to consider a career in metallurgy, the positive and negative aspects of the occupation, the required skills and also gave guidance on subject choices that will open the door to universities and colleges.
